Dear CENTRAL WISCONSIN PRIDE Family
We're Down But Not Out! 💪
We hope this letter finds you well. Due to a major weather event, the museum is closed until we get it safe for everyone. We wanted to reach out personally to update you on recent events at Motorama Auto Museum and share some heartwarming news about our incredible community.
On July 19th at 6am, our grounds were hit by an EF3 category tornado that severely damaged property, left debris and fallen trees scattered across the property. While this devastating storm was during an event, we're thankful to report that no one was seriously injured, all our buildings are still standing, and our power and phone service were restored within six hours.
What happened next truly moved us. Fire and Ambulance vehicles arrived within minutes and Members of our military vehicle and 4x4 show community began arriving almost immediately after the storm had passed. They came with equipment and determination to help clear debris and move fallen trees. Seeing our community come together like this - rolling up sleeves and getting to work without being asked - reminded us why we're so proud to be part of this family.
Things look bad, but morale is high! We're writing to let you know that despite the challenges, our August Military Vehicle & 4x4 Show is moving forward as planned. Registration numbers are looking fantastic, and we're confident this will be one of our best shows yet. Your continued enthusiasm and support mean everything to us.
To everyone who has reached out, volunteered their time, or simply sent encouraging words - thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We're back out there with our excavators, skid steers, and chainsaws continuing the cleanup work, but we wanted to take a moment to let you know where we stand.
We were down, but we are not out. Motorama will be back up and running, and our August Military Vehicle & 4x4 Show is going to be an amazing time. We can't wait to see you there.
With gratitude and determination,
The Motorama Auto Museum Team
P.S. - Thank you for continuing to volunteer and support us. Your community spirit is what makes our community so special.
